Overload

Sometimes my paintings end up looking calm and do not fully reflect what the process is while I am painting. Sometimes they accurately reflect the process - that it is akin to meditation or a workout of sorts. The activity in this painting is probably one of the most accurate portrayals of what the painting process is for me mentally that I have completed so far. The soft colors offset the frenetic activity and warmth is present as well - for those cycles and circles of hyper thoughts are not negative, just tangled.
